The association stuck with RPI in their matchups. Mount Ayr at I-35 is a non district rematch which saw I-35 win 28-13. The best game of the first round could very well be WB at Osage. WB can open it up and throw the ball very effectively with Cornwell and has the RB to mix in the ground game. They can put up plenty of points. Osage has a 2,500 yard passer and multiple receivers with 600 yards receiving. Also a back nearing 1,000 yards. They can put up plenty of points too, but their defense may be a bit suspect. Could be a high scoring game up at Osage. Thoughts on all first round games? Predicted winners? Only road team I have winning is West Branch. I thought about PC but I think Wilton’s defense will show up big again at home. SSC’s defense will neutralize West Lyon’s ground game.
