I have been 'lurking' on this thread most of the year and see that Waukon88 is 39-1 in his predictions. He has Cascade beating Union. Wow, must know something that we don't.

Waukon88 may know something...and may not. Has a big enough lead to tank it in the final round. I am unoffically at 33-7 but was taught in cross country to always finish the race.

Remember Cascade only lost to Waukon by 6 and failed to score 3 times inside Waukon's 5. They also had 4 turnovers none of which were the failures inside the 5 and still out gained Waukon by over 100 yards offensively. Couple plays different and Cascade could have won by 2 scores. Their other loss was to a very good NFV team 34-14 in a downpour. Yes Cascade is much more run oriented team now but still capitalizes on key passing plays (QB averages 20 yards a completion) of which they could do nothing that game. Without question Union should be the favorite but Cascade is solid and not far off the other top teams in D4. They also got back one of their better offensive and defensive players a couple weeks ago. He had been out since a injury late in the baseball season.
