Anyone else think it's odd that CP-U has 4 of the top 6 tacklers in 2-A D3 and over 100 more total tackles than NFV or Waukon? Wish their tackle stat keeper would have kept mine in high school!!

I heard complaints about that last year too. I'm pretty sure they had the leading tackler in the state by over 40 tackles and they only played 10 games..

You might have to ease up a little bit tigerpride...with 3 state titles ('76, '86, and '04) I'm guessing Waterloo Columbus leads ALL of the current 2A D-3 teams in championships since 1972. A lot of tradition there. They haven't won a lot recently but let's remember they are also in the toughest district in Class 2A.
