Could be allot of changes in this district with Denver more than likely moving up to 1A, Gadbrook/Reinbeck talking about dissolving, AGWSR voting to go 8 man and just heard North Tama might go 8 man. That basically leaves Grundy and BCLUW left. Definitely going to be some shakeup in class A districts next year as teams may be traveling a little farther.

Was the source that told you North Tama may go 8man reliable? The deadline to tell the state was the 4th of December but I know a couple schools were allowed to make their final decision the next week because of school board meetings.

So can you confirm the final decision they have made? Did the school board vote?

No firm source, just heard of it at a wrestling tournament that it was discussed but didn't here which way they were going to go. Thats why I said might in my first thread. Their beds would allow them to and they are not going to get any bigger unless they took on kids from Gladbrook or Reinbeck. Honestly I think it would be a good move for them.

I think they still have good participation numbers though, in my mind it wouldn't be that good of a move.

We have seen it over and over bad 11 man teams that move down aren't good 8 man teams. Stay up and give more kids a chance to participate.

GR wont be dissolving anytime soon. They wouldn't be able to bring it to a vote for over a year. I dont forsee it passing even if it was voted on.

And with BCLUW's numbers, they will likely move up to 1A, so that leaves Grundy.
