**It's a shame this game is being played in NW Iowa in district play. See Western/Sioux Center and Gehlen/West Lyon 2014!
Boyden Hull is a team that isn't over talented, but they are a team that is very solid in every aspect of the game. Not a ton of depth especially inside depth. Great passing team and 1/2 offense is very good.
Justin Schmidt (6'3") averaging 19 pts 7 reb. Plays bigger than his size, lefty that has an arsenal of post moves.
Dalton Moser is shooting it at 43% from 3. The junior guard is averaging 15 per game. More than a "catcher & shooter" he moves without the ball pretty well. He doesn't put it on the floor extremely well.
Chandler Brunsting is a guy they need to come up big in order to get by Central Lyon. The junior pt guard is averaging 11 pts 3 assists.
Central Lyon has all the pieces in place to win the title. They have a balance of inside/outside game. They are extremely athletic and very deep.
Nic Lutmer (6'3") power forward is the team leader. He averages 19 pts. and 9 rebounds. Unlike Schmidt, Lutmer will step out and shoot the 3.
Grant Metzger is the other power forward who is averaging 14 pts and 7 boards. He and Lutmer are both shooting 63% from the field.
Eckenrod - Shooting wing is averaging 11 pts and shooting 40% from 3. He needs to make shots when teams pack it in.
CJ Roths - Pt guard is averaging 10 pts and 4 assists per contest. Like Brunsting the guy that will have to come up big if they cut down the net in 2015.
IMO Central Lyon is the better team with superior athletes, but Boyden Hull has been there before and will not be rattled by the environment. I'll take Central Lyon by 12. If it's a close game the edge will go to Boyden Hull.
