Big loss as he was excellent for basketball as the administrator.

i.e. Coaching Box, Playing all state title games on same day.

Be interesting to see who takes over basketball administrator operations in Boone.

Good. He was a big part of selling the tv rights to Chicago. They need to clean house and get better.

The IHSAA is making changes in a positive way under the new leadership. Changing the TV situation happened shortly after Tom Keating took over in July of 2019.

So is Nanninga. He's an awesome guy, and was a huge proponent and advocate for basketball behind the scenes. A number of issues that coaches want improved (holiday tourneys, practice start time, seeding, etc.) he was in favor of wholeheartedly. The biggest culprit in slow change/no change is actually the administrators association. The IHSAA and Boys Bball will miss Brett.
