People should speak a little quieter in public, but a friend of mine overheard a Regina board member this afternoon talking about how they're going to cover up this "investigation". ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? DUMB ENOUGH TO SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND NOT KNOWING WHO IS AROUND YOU? What might that be? Well unfortunately they didn't speak too loudly about that. But I can't wait to get a good laugh when something big hits the KCRG in the next week or two!

I overheard a couple of Wilton parents talking about loosing a couple more players to OE, & heard a Regina parent complaining about the grade-school aged kids having to watch the semi-final game in class. This was all heard at a youth wrestling tournament.

99.8 percent of the time, this is much ado about nothing.

maybe this will be the 0.2 percent?

Popcorn in hand!

Could it have to do with Iben?

I heard a rumor that the golden hawks are trying to win more than 2 games next year. Are there enough 8 man teams in the area to accomplish this? But again it's just something I overheard.

Not sure if it's anything or if the public should even be aware of any type of ongoing investigation.

On the other hand if this alleged investigation finds some wrongdoing it needs to be reported to the public regardless of the fact Regina is a private school.

What does Regina deserve?
Is this just a thread where people make up stuff that they 'heard'?
Anyone can do that.

KCRG was at the school yesterday.
Probably there for Ordman(?)

I shot a carrier pigeon the other day, read the letter attached to it - stated something about Regina the rest was tore apart from my upland load.

I heard they had a player arrested but the worst charge against him was dropped.....

Oops. Wrong town and wrong team

I bing searched it. Couldn't find anything. Maybe you were thinking of something else.

Maybe this is why KCRG was there.

GoldenHawk313: [/URL]Thank's for the heads up to watch for the Regina news / Player of the year. I head someone talking and they said you are a great Regina supporter!

Hey GoldenHawk [/B]how does your friend know who is Regina Board member? The reason I ask is because I am a Regina supporter having had two students at Regina and like most Regina parents I could not tell you who is on the Regina Board. Pretty impressive that outsiders know so much about Regina.

Iowa City Regina quarterback Drew Cook capped his prep career by leading the Regals to a state-record fifth straight state title.

His performance, including 3,276 total offensive yards and 50 touchdowns, earned Cook the 2014 Gazette/KCRG-TV9 Player of the Year award.

Well, the "finally" wasn't necessary, but Regina certainly got what they deserved.
Wait....they'll still be 1A next year, so I'm confused by your statement.

1A again? I thought I heard a board members, brothers, cousins, friend talking at Baskin and Robbins and Regina is expelling a bunch of non athletic kids and petitioning the state to drop down to A, something about always hearing the same stuff on the 1A message boards and needing a fresh perspective on things from the A board. It must be true because I heard it and now it's on the internet.

Regina should drop down to Class A. They only need to toss out about 20 kids or so to make this happen. That's where the cars and boats and free Hy-Vee gift certificates come in.

GH2009.... I'm not sure what you mean by that????
maybe Regina could go too 2 8-man teams & play each other in the championship.

Actually with the new guidelines that they put in for the playoffs the $tate could $et this up anyway they wanted to.

Regina will finally be getting what they deserve when they have to go through teams like Dowling and Heelan to collect another title.
