Class 1A I think up and down will have the best games tonight. A lot of big games with very nice teams.
#4 Dike-New Hartford @ #5 Saint Ansgar
This should be a very good game with two teams playing their best ball at the right time. Both boast very good run games but I think Dike-New Hartford has little bit better all-round offensive team and are playing angry after a week 9 upset loss.
#9 Hinton @ #8 Western Christian, Hull
A rematch of two teams from what I thought was the toughest district in 1A. Both teams can move the ball through the air quite well. Kooima and Western Christian I think have been tested a little bit more in the playoffs and can move it a little better on the ground.
#6 Van Meter @ #10 South Central Calhoun
Another very good game with two teams that like to air it out. However I think Henkenius and SCC move it a little better on the ground and having the home field will be the advantages here.
#2 West Branch @ #1 Regina, Iowa City
Unfortunately this one won’t be played in the dome as the top two teams in 1A will face each other to get there. West Branch is a complete team that has a very good run game and sound defense. However IC Regina also has a very good all-round team and I think they have a little bit better skilled position players which will be a small advantage in this one.
