Wow - 3 OTs. I remember when they played at Harlan and the half time score was
CB LC - 29 at Harlan Comm. - 6 and the final score was HCHS - 36 vs. CBLC - 29.
LC never scored another point in the 2nd half.
Good for LC - - I think in the 1st Qtr it was LC - 10 and Xavier -0-

I believe LC would beat Harlan if they played again. Why?? Scheduling. Harlan with all due respect wasn't tested in 3A. Didn't they run off 203 points to 0?? LC on the other hand played some pretty salty teams. Taking nothing away from Harlan, nice to see Western Iowa earn RESPECT. Great job Cyclones!!

No, has nothing to do with Biden. He is a socialist. He is also ruining our country. My thought is 3A wasn't very good this year. Harlan had a nice team and has earned bragging rights till next fall over LC. Thank You for your service btw. I felt LC played better teams towards the end and would have had the upper hand. We will never know. Nice to have two Champions from the Hawk-10.
Thanks to both of you! Your post show that there is a true rivalry now. Prior to 2014 there was no rivalry due to the Cyclone dominance of L.C! The Lewis Central versus Harlan football game has turned into a must see game!! Both programs should be proud of representing what High School football rivalries are all about!
No question Harlan has owned this side of the state for years. Coach Bladt has done it the right way too! Glad his son won his first this year. Starting with head coach Jim Duggan LC has turned their focus to being a football school and it has paid off. Next year's game should be a classic.
i want to watch this game..know where i can get it...glad to see lc win it....they got tough after indianola game......who would of thought harlan vs lc was 2 state champs on the same field....does not happen often....possible there was 4 or 5 div1 players on the field

i watched that lewis central xavier game, the last play where lewis central linebacker kept the running back from reaching the goal lne, was great play. in the stands, a xavier fan got so angry when he saw that, turned his back, grabbed his son, and left mad......it was funny how fans can get so upset....xavier fans support their team big time
