Italy’s own “Trump”?

The new Italian PM is being smeared (similar to Trump) due to nationalistic, pro-Italian policies….gee, what a threat 🙄

Meloni has expressed her dedication to traditional family values, opposition to gender ideology and the LGBT lobby, as well as support for strong borders and an end to mass migration.

Currently, Meloni is being smeared by the establishment media as someone who is “comfortable” with “fascism,” simply because her motto is “We defend God, country, and family.”

And the hits just keep coming for our feeble, incompetent president.

The Strategic Petroleum Reserve is for national emergencies like war, severe supply disruptions (caused by weather events such as hurricanes) etc.,…..not your political fortunes you idiot.

On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Fox Business Tonight,” Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) stated that the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is at a 37-year low in the face of Hurricane Ian making landfall in Florida because President Joe Biden drained the reserve in a “political move” to compensate for his bad energy policies.

Remember when the orange guy topped off the Reserve when oil prices were at its lowest to save taxpayer money and keep it viable??

2A Week Games

Not many great games for week 6 in 2A. Here are a few games to watch.

(5-0) New Hampton @ (3-2) Osage
- Osage better be ready for a lot of McShane. 38 carries last week!

(5-0) Spirit Lake vs. (3-2) ELC
- Somewhat of a rivalry game here. Can ELC keep Higgins from having a big game?

--2A Top 10--

1a.) CLGLR (5-0) - Hard to pick between CLGLR and Williamsburg. CLGLR is extremely deep. Even with their best player out for a few weeks they will cruise.

1b.) Williamsburg (5-0) - Williamsburg has played some loaded teams so far and are still undefeated. Loaded team that should cruise to the end of the regular season.

3.) Spirit Lake (5-0) - Spirit Lake with a statement win last week against OABCIG. Looks like they have moved a little more run oriented than previous years.

4.) West Marshall (5-0) -

5.) New Hampton (5-0) -

6.) Dubuque Wahlert (4-1) -

7.) OABCIG (4-1) - Tough loss last week to Spirit Lake. Tough matchup next week against ELC.

8.) West Lyon (3-2) - Has been improving all year. Looks like they will be the #2 out of district 1.

9.) Osage (3-2) -

10.) Estherville LC (3-2) -

What does Hurricane Ian and getting vaccinated have in common?

To any sane individual, nothing…but to feeble Joe:
“Let me be clear. If you’re in a state where hurricanes often strike like Florida or the Gulf Coast or into Texas, a vital part of preparing for hurricane season is to get vaccinated,” Biden stated ahead of Hurricane Ian’s anticipated landfall on the west coast of Florida.

“Now, everything is more complicated if you’re not vaccinated in [sic] a hurricane or natural disaster hits,” he continued, making a bizarre connection between getting vaccinated and preparing for a massive storm:

CA once again leading the nation…

… in idiocy. First, shut down 4/5 nuke plants, then have to crank up natural gas generators :p b/c they ran out of power due to the recent heat wave… all while telling people to switch to electric cars to boot.

Then try to raise min wage to $22/hr for restaurants w/ over 100 employees … and they don’t understand why that only leads to this… stupid flickers.

2022 Class A Predictions

This is what I have for class A, figured it might get some discussion going.

Top Ten
  • Wapsie Valley
  • Lynnville Sully
  • East Buchanan
  • HMS
  • Woodbury Central
  • West Hancock
  • Grundy Center
  • Mount Ayr
  • North Linn
  • Belle Plaine

Others Considered: Lisbon, South O’Brien, Belle Plaine, Newman, North Union

To me Class A appears to be wide open on paper, I don’t think there are any clear-cut favorites like last year with West Hancock and Grundy Center. I put Wapsie Valley at 1 and I will say I can see arguments for others, but I see them as a team that was young last year, took some lumps early then figured it out and made a nice run to the quarters, the other thing they have is tradition which can help in big games. Lynnville Sully at 2, they were super young last year as well, I would say my biggest concern is that outside of Belle Plaine their district is super weak and while I think Pleasantville will give them a challenge in the non-district they may not be tested enough deep in the playoffs. East Buchanan is a team that made the semis and hung tough with West Hancock for a half, and return some studs, but also have to figure out a few pieces, I would say my concern is that they struggled last year with some mediocre teams. HMS at 4, and I really think they may have been the 3rd best team in the state last year, with their loses coming to West Hancock twice and a really good West Sioux. They return quite a bit, but also lose a great running back. Woodbury Central is a program that has been pretty consistent the last few seasons, they lose their QB I believe but return quite a bit of production. West Hancock at 6 and truthfully, I don’t know what to do with them, they lose a bunch of production but at the same time I think they find a way to reload not rebuild. Same goes for Grundy at 7, they have played in the finals the last three seasons and while I think they take a step back, I know that they have had success in the grades coming up to Varsity. Mount Ayr is another program that has been consistent and they look to have a bunch of pieces back off of a successful season. North Linn surprised last year, and I think their 1st string could be as talented as anyone, but I question their concern. I put Belle Plaine at 10 over the other 4 listed because they do return a bunch, and will win a bunch of games in their district, but not sure I see them going deep in the playoffs. Lisbon should win that SE Iowa District, but I think will have to figure a few things out. South O’Brien seems to be the 2nd best team in NW Iowa. Newman has one of the best QBs in the state, it’ll be interesting to see how they build around that. Finally North Union is a bit of a sleeper pick, they played a bunch of quality teams tight and return some nice players.

The Biden DOJ: Jack-booted thugs.

“A SWAT team of about 25 came to my house with about 15 vehicles and started pounding on our door,” Ryan-Marie Houck said. “They said they were going to break in if he didn't open it. And then they had about five guns pointed at my husband, myself, and basically at my kids,” she added.
This is an outrage……disgraceful.
