Also, Stalin intentionally starved millions of Ukrainians in the 1920's and 30's so it stands to reason that many of them fought against the Soviet Union. I think it's accurate to say they fought against Stalin, not for Hitler or nazi Germany.

There were and are anti-semites in Ukraine...probably in similar concentration as other western European countries.

Historically if it is a private school it is about recruiting and unfair advantages, with public schools it is generally ignoring the impact of open enrollment and the actual recruiting that goes on.

Usually the reality is a combination of talented kids working hard and getting good coaching.

Also agree. I think a pledge not to add Ukraine to NATO (corrupt AF anyway) as well as no offensive weapons in Ukraine if Russia withdraws is extremely reasonable.

However, as I said above, this recent escalation is on Putin and Russia. Bringing NK troops into the fold is entirely ridiculous and irresponsible.

I don't hate the country or the people necessarily but I agree. The use of North Korean, Chinese and Iranian military equipment and the huge escalation of using NK military personnel has justified the use of more advanced military systems imo.

I don't appreciate the fact that we're paying for it but the escalation itself is entirely on the Russian regime.

It’s a good thing IMO, Russia launches wave after wave of drones and cruise missiles from a handful of places in Russian. None of these waves target military targets, mostly they hit residential buildings and power/utilities in cities
