Class A Season Outlook

Here is my update

District 1
I really don't see any way that district 1 doesn't finish in this order.
1. Gehlen
2. MMC-RU
3. Sibley-Ocheyedan
4. HMS

District 2
Just like last week, West Hancock will win it Saint will finish 2nd and they had a convincing win over NP, Newman has beaten the right teams to finish 3rd and then the Lake Mills vs Belmond Klemme game this week should determine the 4th spot, especially if Lake Mills wins.
1. West Hancock
2. Saint Ansgar
3. Newman
4. Lake Mills

District 3
North Tama beating Wapsie makes this district a little messier. It is still 5 teams fighting for 4 spots, I could see a lot of things happening, but I do see North Butler probably being the team that doesn't make it.
1. Wapsie
2. Nashua Plainfield
3. North Tama
4. South Winn

District 4
Same thing as last week, I think Maq Valley and Bellevue are officially in, but really all four of these teams are. I think that the top 3 are ahead of Bellevue, but we get a chance to see this week as MV and Bellevue play, then the last two weeks all of the matchups are these teams.
1. North Linn
2. Maquoketa Valley
3. Starmont
4. Bellevue

District 5
Lisbon won the district title on Friday, Columbus and Danville will determine 3/4 the last game of the season.
1. Lisbon
2. Pekin
3. Columbus
4. Danville

District 6
Madrid with another non district slip up, but still will win the district, I like Mount Ayr a little better than L-S right now, NM vs Wayne for the 4 spot this Friday.
1. Madrid
2. Mount Ayr
3. Lynnville Sully
4. North Mahaska

District 7
AC/GC has the district wrapped up, I think Earlham beats Riverside for 2nd and I think SCC has more or less wrapped up #4
1. AC/GC
2. Earlham
3. Riverside
4. SCC

District 8
I still think Woodbury Central wins the district although they haven't looked quite as good, Tri Center has been playing well, and I think Saint Albert and Westwood round out the playoff qualifiers, but Kingsley Pierson and LoMa still have a shot.
1. Woodbury Central
2. Tri Center
3. Saint Albert
4. Westwood

Gehlen vs Westwood
West Hancock vs SCC
Wapsie vs Bellevue
North Linn vs Danville
Lisbon vs South Winn
Madrid vs Lake Mills
AC/GC vs North Mahaska
Woodbury Central vs HMS

MMC-RU vs Saint Albert
Saint Ansgar vs Starmont
Nashua Plainfield vs Newman
Maquoketa Valley vs Columbus
Pekin vs North Tama
Mount Ayr vs Riverside
Earlham vs Lynnville Sully
Tri Center vs Sibley-Ocheyedan

Top 4 Prediction this week (at the end of the year)
1. West Hancock
2. ACGC
3. Lisbon
4. North Linn

If it is this then their would be some interesting 2nd and 3rd round pairings.

What could go wrong?

We had one guy who was going to be a great Deputy but he only had a green card and we couldn't get him citizenship any quicker, even attempting to pull strings. The federal government marches at its own slow ass pace.
Perhaps, but apparently this regime has fast tracked a record number of immigrants. Could it be because they anticipate a disproportionate number of New Democrat voters? 🤔

Auburn UGA - discussion thread

My main goal was to force Snoop and Bozo to search google so they could figure out what “genteel” meant. 😆
One of the funniest things about this is your assumption that you are somehow sophisticated. I always pictured you as being just a rung above Calhoun.

Weren’t Irish immigrants pretty much all given citizenship upon arrival in the 1800’s at Ellis Island?

That said, if they’re here legally and don’t have a criminal record here or back home, I don’t really have that much of a problem with it. And by legal, I mean came here on a work visa, not the bullshit asylum shit currently going on… but there are also a lot of cops in cities like atlanta that have a criminal record themselves, so who knows what to think any more…

Misdemeanor convictions from their youth, I have no problem with that. We were all stupid kids at one point. In fact, some of those types make great cops because they remember how criminals think.

What could go wrong?

A lot of immigrant Irishmen were NY cops early 1860-1890s …. Might be different rules in alot of departments now, but it doesn’t bother me…. It’s preferable for the PoPo to be citizens, but there’s alot of other stuff that chaffs me more from liberals

True. I wonder if many of those immigrants were actually citizens? We actually have a few immigrants.

Y’all know we were missing players, right?

I hope the pavement is ok in athens… the team probably took their frustrations out harder on the streets last night than Updykes do on their wives after big losses…
Pavement is fine. My understanding is they are going to take out their frustration on whoever we play next week. I’d hate to be that team coming into Athens.

Absolutely - at no point are illegals to be considered for law enforcement positions..... now THAT would grab my goat

Que??? You have to be a US citizen in Alabama. I just assumed that this was true everywhere...save California of course.
