Hurricane Helene

Only possible saving grace so far is she hasn't gotten fully organized yet, so she hasn't blown up into a Cat 4/5 monster because of that. Still having some dry air and unorganized eyewall issues. Hopefully those continue and she doesn't reach her upper potential.

Regardless of exact strength at landfall, with her size she's still going to cause a lot of flooding issues and inland wind issues.

There are b!tch moves,

This is horseshyt

There is no surprise that all of this is because of NIL money. Supposedly Sluka didn’t receive as much money as he was promised and recently was offered more from another school. UNLV isn’t known to offer much NIL money which is one thing, which Sluka knew, but who and how much did someone offer a quarterback who is completing 43.8% of his passes? That isn’t known right now, but there is no way that he was offered enough to make his decision sensible and morally just (LOLOLOL). 😆

Wait... you (this guy in your link) write that he didn't receive as much money as he was promised (I think that is called Breach of Contract); THEN, you give him shyt on ONE QB rating stat? If he is only completing a low percentage, then why the hell do you care so much that he's bailing (like UNLV has done on their word?)? He is 27th of 133 in QBR in the nation and his team is 3-0. What if he gets a season ending injury next week, on top of UNLV has stiffed him what they said they would pay him. I don't get the outrage at all.

Sounds like a QB UNLV should stick to their word... speaking of 'morally just'.
43.8%?
Iowa out hunting for an improvement at QB?

Hurricane Helene

Unfortunately Helene is set to become a monster in the next 36-48 hours. Any of you along the coast or southern GA need to be ready.

Also probably going to be some bad flooding in Georgia, particularly in the mountains of GA/NC/TN. Could be 8-12” (with locally higher amounts) of rain fall in about 36 hours.

On a much lesser note, Bama/UGA looks to be largely unaffected on its current course.
Up to 20' of storm surge near Cedar Key. That's fvcked up

I love what you do during hurricanes!😍

This is the image I have of Husky when there’s a hurricane (and I’m stoned.)

What to make of this…

And the whole, January 6th…insurrection…threat to democracy tripe, is just that.

September 20, 2024

WASHINGTON - Committee on House Administration's Subcommittee on Oversight Chairman Barry Loudermilk (GA-11) revealed that days before January 6, 2021, President Trump met with senior Pentagon leaders urging them to do their jobs to protect lives and property. The transcripts released show Trump gave senior Pentagon leadership directives to keep January 6 peaceful - including using the National Guard - which the Pentagon leaders ignored. This revelation directly contradicts the conclusions drawn in the flawed DoD IG reporton January 6, 2021.

In response to these revelations, Chairman Loudermilk released the following statement:

“Pentagon leadership prioritized concerns of optics over their duty to protect lives,” said Chairman Loudermilk. “President Trump met with senior Pentagon leaders and directed them to make sure any events on January 6, 2021 were safe. It is very concerning that these Senior Pentagon officials ignored President Trump’s guidance AND misled Congressional Leaders to believe they were doing their job, when they were not. The DoD IG’s report is fundamentally flawed. It does not draw conclusions from the interviews they conducted, but pushes a narrative to keep their hands clean. We have many questions for them, and we will continue to dig until we are satisfied the American people know the truth."
