The Davenport West Falcons has hired Justin Peters as its next head football coach succeeding Jeremy Moiser who went 2-43 (both wins against Davenport Central Blue Devils) in five years.
Justin Peters was previously the defensive backs coach of the Grand Junction Tigers (Colorado) for three years. During his time at Grand Junction, the school reached the quarterfinals twice and compiled a 22-3 record in that span.
This season, Justin Peters is hoping his coaching style will lead the team to its first IAHSAA Class 4A State playoff berth since 1999.
