What can anyone tell me about Clear Lake? How good are they? I know they're ranked third and are 12-0 (which makes it interesting that nearly every responder in this thread thinks Heelan will win). But Heelan and CL have no common opponents for any comparison. I don't think even their opponents have common opponents. Are they still a run-heavy team like the last time they played Heelan in the semi's?

Thanx. I also found out that both CL & Spencer won at Algona by similar scores. It seems clear that the district Heelan & Spencer played in was much tougher than CL's. Heelan, Spencer, and Carroll were ranked 1-2-3 at one point in the season. I would imagine that CL compares to Spencer in strength. Maybe not as explosive offensively, but better defensively.
 
Didn't get my picks in, but since I picked Heelan vs. Washington in the Title prior to the Quarterfinals. I will chalk it up as a victory.
