Your people are at it again

Why does ICE arrest and charge these thugs with assault on LE? Wouldn’t that put them away for a few years, Duds?

The element of that crime certainly exists in those videos and if you can identify them, you certainly could.

But in California, no way in hell assaulting a LEO gets you a few years. Perhaps a key to the city, however.

Also obstructing, inciting a riot, reckless endangerment and any number of other assault charges if people were hurt.

In Alabama, throwing or shooting a "deadly or dangerous missile" into an occupied vehicle is a class B felony which is punishable by up to 20 years. And yes, that includes rocks.

A similar law exists in California but with lesser penalties so far as I can tell.

Why are you voting California law? Those were federal officials so therefore federal crime, right?

Not for "launching a deadly or dangerous missile into an occupied vehicle" but yes on assaulting federal officers and obstructing. I'm sure you could substitute other charges for the occupied vehicle stuff but I'm not an expert on federal law.
