On the surface it is just another egg on the Biden admin’s face. Refineries are running near full capacity, and the left makes it damn near impossible to increase refining capacity in this country. It increased supply a small amount, but depending on what refineries are looking for, all the ones that process sour crude may already be full. It isn’t like these barrels are being released to US refineries at a steep discount.

I work for an oil refinery now. The crude they are releasing would be of little use at my place, we only process sweet crude or sweet wax crude.
