Class 2A, Travis Eversmeyer of the Northeast Rebels.
Year in and year out his kids over-achieve and absolutely love to play for him. He coaches hard from the opening tip to the final horn. Works his players and not the officials. The team has lost in the sub-state final the last 2 years but players never quit. Scrap and claw the full 32 minutes. The parents/fans love him as well. He's exactly what a high school coach should be.
The Rebels have a large task in Clinton against a very good Camanche team Tuesday night at Yourd Gym in Clinton. Camanche has won both meetings this year and the majority of the experts in the know will be picking Camanche again but......I guarantee that the Rebel players and coaching staff will not be intimidated 1 bit and win or lose, they will leave it all on the court. Truly a great bunch to watch.
