We aren’t a playoff team.
Just the same Byrne and DeBoer have to shoot their shot. Even if we make it I don’t think we go far. But they aren’t doing their job if they don’t try.

Saban would’ve signed off on that to promote his team as well.
Resumes for the teams “fighting” for the last spot are going to be schitty. Hard not to add fluff when there’s not a lot there.
I haven’t been shy how I feel about this team and don’t think they “deserve” to be in the playoff. It’s a lot easier to make the arguments why teams shouldn’t be in than why they should.

Agree but the teams ranked around us have no business being in the playoffs either. This is why a 12 team playoff is stupid imo.
This is so ridiculous... Boise, Indiana, and SMU would get skull-fvcked by all 4 three loss SEC teams. Throw Clempsun in that group as well and they might get in... and they are barely in the Top 20! I don't want to see any more TCU's ever again... little guy vs. big guy right up until the REALLY big guy / game and they get hammered into the headboard to the tune of 65-7. Game was over by halftime.
Just like FSU last year... since your own (ACC) conference is a joke, you better add some real CFB contenders on your schedule or your 'undefeated' season will go down as ANOTHER historic loss.
Funny thing, if we played these playoff games in Tuscaloosa, I think we'd have a decent shot of beating anyone. On the road??? Who TF knows with this team?
My best guess is that we get bounced early because we are just dysfunctional away from home. Our game plans on the road have been nothing short of uncomfortable comedy...as in a weird fcking French mime type shit.

The committee should look at SOS and quality of play along with record. We’ve been wildly inconsistent and played like shit against OU and the barn. That’s not a playoff quality resume. Let us go to a regular New Years bowl and get on with recruiting and prep for 2025.
I think Texas and Georgia has legit claim. Maybe another SEC team but that’s it. I dont see a #3 SEC team making it very far unless the rest of the bracket is just weak AF. Georgia and Texas have a good enough team to make it to the championship game.
It’s all relative too. I mean if Bama gets in it’s most likely Penn St in the first round, then SMU in the second round. Bama’s been wildly inconsistent but it’s not a stretch to think they’d make it to the Semi round with that bracket.
Same goes for if it was SC or OM.
Also could see Milroe going 10-25 with 4 TOs in Happy Valley in route to a 28-3 loss.

Notice any difference? Not a single one in the Top 10 or 20... ONE in the Top 30. So yeah... fvck yeah... the SEC 3 loss teams absolutely deserve to be put ahead of or at least equal to these teams.
This is just a larger scale of what FSU did by chicken-shytting avoiding the SEC in 1986, staying in the All CupCake league, and going on to win natties in '93 & '99. 179-32 W/L record from '87 to '03... not a chance in the world they would have anything close to that had they come into the SEC. 😡
