What team has been the biggest positive surprise this year?

From the way they played tonight, I would say Northwood-Kensett. They played Bosco hard, have good numbers, and some athletic talent. I see them doing well in the playoffs.

N-K is very young as well. Sophmore QB, 1 Junior 2 sophs on line. 1 Junior Rb 1 Senior Rb. And the young man that was injured seemed like it was mostly precautionary with his back. He is a heck of a player as well for a soph. But man it will take a good team to stop Bosco from scoring. They will give up points but that Hogan kid is a beast.

I think the bigger surprise was NK being bad last year, that seemed like more of an anomaly.

I would have to go with FM. No seniors on the squad. Starting a lot of freshmen and sophomores. They could have folded very easily. But they did not do that.

I agree!! F-M didn't rebuild, they just reloaded, and wouldn't be surprised if they made a dark horse run in the playoffs!! It doesn't sound easy to make the playoffs with no Senior leadership, but F-M surprised alot of people this year!!

I think you've got to go with either N-K or River Valley. Both teams had losing records last year and are in position to make some noise in the playoffs this year.
