Heading into the final two weeks of the regular season, here is my top 10
Here are my top 10 rankings heading into week 8
1. Dike-New Hartford (7-0)
2. Van Meter (7-0)
3. Western Christian (7-0)
4. West Sioux (6-1)
5. West Lyon (6-1)
6. South Central Calhoun (7-0)
7. West Branch (7-0)
8. Treynor (7-0)
9. Sigourney-Keota (7-0)
10. Regina, Iowa City (6-1)
Looking in: Panorama (6-1), Mount Ayr (6-1), Underwood (6-1), Mediapolis (6-1), ACGC (6-1), North Linn (5-2)
All teams remain the same in the top 10, with the only change being teams from D1 flipping spots after West Sioux got back on track with a home win over West Lyon. WL will have eyes on a home game in week 9 vs Western to force a 3-way tie for the title.
There are some fairly solid teams in the top 10 and even some teams just outside that are quality teams, too. Looking forward to these final two regular season weeks to see how the final standings end up.
