Pella may be 2-3, but they’re still Pella. Xavier (4-1) at Pella is a pretty darn good D-4 matchup.

That Cedar Falls-Kennedy game ought to be a dandy. If Linn-Mar can hold their own against SEP, that’ll say a lot about the Lions (their defense is legit, but they haven’t played anybody on SEP’s level yet).

Newton played a pretty good game against Pella; Osky got their 4 wins against teams that won only 4 games total. I think Osky will get exposed in district play.

And hey, go Cardinal Comets! I think we started 4-0 (at least) back when I played for them in 1980, only to lose to WACO and Pekin and end up 7-2 and third place in the final year of the Blackhawk Conference. I’m not expecting them to actually beat Sigourney-Keota, but you never know!

Spirit Lake @ ELC should be a good one too.

SK with back to back tough games. Will prove to be battle tested come playoffs. Being run dominate, makes them easier to prepare for.

They are good they had bad luck with injury. I know when they play Bondurant farrar there was a couple of offensive lineman out for that game. I believe once those guy get back for pella they will get better.

Is that the second game this year? I am assuming it is a low number issue and that they will play their scheduled game next week. sarc but probably accurate.
Yes.
They are missing a number of starters. They plan to hold a JV scrimmage instead.

My understandings is that both schools/coaches worked together and they are going to get a game together, essentially a reserve/JV game with their remaining roster so at least some kids get to play. Making the best of a bad situation
