wonder what got into this harlan team, it was not their usual play. they had a new starting defensive back, freshman, but i dont think that was the difference

yea, ....that should be interesting game between lewis central and glenwood, my quess lewis central will come on with fire in their eyes........i was at glenwood in the early 90,s when harlan played glenwood...also saw lewis central vs harlan in the early 90s,. i live in phoenix, so it was difficult for me to see them..

just curious, why do you call the game -at the Wood??????never heard that before....

That name has just kind of caught on in Southwest Iowa when talking about Glenwood. It is by no means disrespectful just slang.

"The Wood" has come a long, long way. Easy commute to Omaha, nice affordable lots, beautiful country living. Folks moving into the area can choose between that or West "O"- and many are choosing "The Wood" As a result- better athletes, more $ for updates, and their A.D. is really a quality find- along with some of their coaches. The future looks bright.
