Scores of note

Edco- 16 North Linn- 20
BGM-21 East Marshal- 13
South O’Brien- 42 Sioux central- 16
North Tama- 8 Hudson-6

I also saw st Alberts loss once again, but they played a very good Underwood team. Like I said earlier in the year. They will lose most of there non district schedule because of how tough it is, but will breeze by there district

Feel free to comment on how your team played and the opponent

St Ansgar beat Postville 72-6. They were up 66-6 after a missed pat by the second team kicker halfway through the continuous clock 4th, but were able to score again to avoid any bad omens.

Wapsie handled gmg. Yes the competition wasn’t great but Wapsie looked very good unlike last week against North Tama. Score after first quarter was 21-0, scores first play of second quarter and at half the score was 50-0 which ended up being a final.

Great battle between NT and Hudson. I figured it would be a little more of a deciding game in favor of NT, but the Pirates battled to the end. Hats off to both teams on a hard fought game.

Heard North Tama might have got a little lucky lol. 61 yard td pass with like 19 seconds left down 6-2. Also sounded like Hudson dominated the game for the most part. Just what I am seeing wasn’t there personally

North Tama has gotten lucky bounces a few times this year. They were shut down by Lisbon earlier this year, but got a WR reverse pass for 60ish yds and then a KO fumble recovery after a weird bounce. They are not the dangerous team they were last season. But in the end, it all comes down to the team that makes the most of the opportunities they get. That defense they have will keep them in every game this year. Will just need one or two big plays.

I did see Fulcher was back for Hudson which obviously helped. Remind me again, were there any 6-3 teams that made it to playoffs last year in A? Maybe 1? Even if Hudson turns into a potential contender with Fulcher back, may be difficult to make the playoffs. Although they still have to play St Ansgar, WV, and Grundy and I don't see them coming out of that unscaithed.

opponents composite winning percentage is weighted equally to your own winning percentage. playing columbus and st ansgar out of district combined with a tough district 7 may be enough to get Hudson in at 6-3. Hudson absolutely dominated North Tama on offense and defense, lost the special teams battle and blew a last chance bomb on the last play. Fulcher was not really efective in the 2nd half likely due to the heat and missing 3 weeks of conditioning. if they get in they will be a tough out. still looking to get 2 starters back from injury.
