In this corner of the state - South O'Brien vs Sioux Central is probably the most competitive game.

We get to see what Gehlen (2-1) really is all about as they face Dekkers and West Sioux as well.

Gehlen is not a contender, had to come back big to beat Unity, lost 14-2 to WC. West sioux wins by 40

However, SOB / SC game should tell us a little more about NW Iowa class A

I agree, not a true contender. However, D1 is not very good and Gehlen have a chance to make some noise in it. With Hinton's injuries and offensive struggles, South O'Brien really is the only favorite in the district. HMS is also decent but every single game has been close with not real tough opponents. So hard to tell, their first mutual opponent is this week when HMS plays Unity.

How about Edgewood-Colesburg vs North Linn? This game could tell us how good both team are.

True about D1 SOB has to be favorite and anyone could be 2 with a chance to upset SOB to get automatic bid or they all beat each other and SOB runs away with it. shold make for entertaining games each week in D1 though

Ft Dodge St Ed's vs Algona Garrigan is also a great match up in Class A.
