Here are my week 3 top 10 rankings:

I basically just elevated teams up in my rankings if they played well and did nothing to hurt their previous spot. However, Van Meter elevated quite a bit based on the tremendous performance last night and they should be ahead of PC because of that. West Lyon and West Sioux will sort themselves out during district play. I believe WB has been starting to click on offense and their defense is always tough as nails. To me, 9, 10, and SSC could be interchanged. I’m not sure what to make of those three teams yet. Wilton blasted NE this week and showed they could put up points. Mediapolis has been impressive the first two weeks but competition hasn’t been great. SSC had an impressive showing against 2A Kuemper last night. Any insight of those three teams? Again, my top 10 isn’t perfect, but it gets more conversation going. Thoughts on Bellevue?

I have a friend who's brother is on Wilton. He told me they may be losing an all-state OL for the season. Townsend? Iowa baseball recruit. Elbow issue is what Im hearing.

Hard to know for sure after the Wapello game, where they exploded, but things sure are looking up. After a sub-par performance week one, despite scoring 32 points, week two showed quite the improvement. The next three weeks against Williamsburg, Tipton, and Bellevue will be the test and arguably the hardest stretch of the schedule.
