I don't think a team from Fort Dodge would be paired with a team from Iowa City anytime before the Dome. But maybe I'm reading that wrong.

I like your spirit GoEagles but I just cannot see the IHSAA allowing WB and Regina to both have a shot to make the Dome. They are 8 miles apart. Not happening. Not to mention, a great of hay needs to be put in the barn before WB even gets to the Quarters. I'm worried about week 1 and only week 1 for now.

I agree that FDSE and Regina would not meet until the dome if they were to make it that far.

Regina would likely be matched up wth a team from District 4,5, or 8 in the second round.

Considering how close Regina and West Branch are, it is likely that if both are still alive after 2 rounds that they would meet in round 3. I think both will have big test prior to that though having to get through teams like South Winn, Dike and Pella Christian.

I thought with the new district/playoff guidelines that even though WB and Regina are 8 miles apart that both could make the Dome. It allows for the state to make the pairings and there are schools close enough that they could make it happen.
