Why they deserve it: Good wins over Janesville & Springville, played tough against DB in their only loss
Why they don't: Lost a lot of star power off of last year's team, but it appears the next guy in mentality is working well for them

Why they deserve it: Spieker putting up good #'s, lost close game in quarters last year to Audubon
Why they don't: May lack someone to compliment Spieker
6.) Fremont-Mills (3-0)
Why they deserve it: Dual threat with the Malcom brothers, have been solid for years
Why they don't: Only able to play 3 games so far due to Covid, how much longer will the health concerns linger?
7.) Coon Rapids-Bayard (6-0)
Why they deserve it: Appear to have lots of depth in the running game, good win over Woodbine
Why they don't: Haven't played a real strong schedule overall
8.) Newell-Fonda (5-1)
Why they deserve it: Traditional power, only loss is by 2 to Remsen
Why they don't: Have had other close games, unable to beat Remsen when they were short handed
9.) Janesville (5-1)
Why they deserve it: Close loss to Easton Valley in week 1 & have handled opponents since that time, dual threat with Dodd & Pariseau
Why they don't: Need to get a win against a top 10 team in the playoffs
10.) Montezuma (6-0)
Why they deserve it: Good wins over New London & English Valleys
Why they don't: Only beat 3-3 KP 39-38, strength of their district is in question
