Seeing Linn Mar beat CF and Wahlert beating Jeff last night confirms what most have been thinking...the MVC is tough as heck from top to bottom. There just arent any gimmies in the league period.

CR Washington and Iowa City- City are having down years, but they are both traditionally strong programs, and we can all count that they will bounce back sooner than later. Wash's top player transferred out of the area and City has such a strong base that they'll be back. The valleys catch up with the peaks every so often. Jefferson played several sophs last night and they're a pretty decent team right now. Hard to dig out of a hole last night when the opponent makes their first six shots and they're all threes.
