Track and Field Elite All State

I couldn't find any information (Register or Iowa Athletic Assoc site) about who the Elite All State performers for 2011 are, so I thought that I would give a little credit to the athlete's (unofficially of course). I think that it is the top two performers per event that are considered Elite All State. Any corrections would be helpful.

Aaron Arment, West Marshall: Back to back 4x2, open 100, and open 200 champion..Champion in the 4x1 and runner-up the year before..

Elite all state is top two times/distances regardless of class at the State Meet.

Aaron Arment is a very good athlete and has had a terrific high school track career. But, his times at the State Meet would have been 8th fastest in the 4A 100 and all 8 200 meter 4A runners had a faster time then his winning 2A 200 time at state. I didn't look at any of the other classes to see where his times would have put him. Thus, his performance wouldn't have made the Elite status. I am not taking anything away from Aaron, again he is a fine athlete.

looks about right except the boys 4x1. 42.46 is faster then 42.50. They have 42.50 listed as second on the elite list and 42.46 listed as third.
