From what I understand, it will be flexbone vs. flexbone in Calmar on Friday night. Anyone have any insights into how this game might play out?

Both have very solid athletes. I think this is one of the games that will have a bigger effect on the next set of pods. S. Winn wins, they stay east. L. Mills wins they could get pulled a different direction

S Winn's QB is a phenomenal athlete. I think this game will be a good one. Will come down to which team plays the most disciplined defense. I think S Winn pulls out the win though. Lake Mills has two workhorses who carry the load. Defenses can key on the Hanson brothers because Berger doesn't keep it a lot, whereas S. Winn has a QB who will make you pay if you key too much on FB. And the kid threw for almost 4000 yards the last two years, so he can sling it if need be.

This might be the best game in Class A tomorrow night. Can anyone think of a game that might be more competitive?

Saint Ansgar vs. West Fork was highly competitive the first time with West Fork scoring rather easily to start the game, but the weather could hurt them tomorrow night as I believe they relied on the pass to score on Saint Ansgar.

Newman vs. Wapsie Valley, if we are talking about Lake Mills vs. South Winn I see this game essentially being the same type of game, both can run or pass the ball.

Alburnett vs. Belle Plaine, these aren't dome teams but this is a very evenly matched game.

Ridge View vs. South O'Brien, just like Alburnett vs. BP I don't see either of these teams making the dome but should be competitive

St. Albert vs. Woodbury Central, Woodbury Central was a dome team last year, St. Albert is always tough, seems like a good matchup to me.

The st ansgar west fork game was only competitive for the most of the first half. St. Ansgar made adjustents and after the score was tied at 21, St ansgar scored 33 unanswered points. You are correct that all of West forks success was through the air. The weather tomorrow will make things tougher for them. They proved in the first game they could score against st. Ansgar, but I don't think their defense prevented a touchdown all game.
