Should work out for him based on that footage. Although I would agree they should be consistent with the review process to ensure there is not a larger story to be told. But looks like a typical entitled American that wanted to start some shit she couldn’t finish.And yet people still are. And the black cop is on administrative leave pending an investigation.

It's easy to second guess a split second reaction. It's much harder to do the right thing in a split second. This cop got it right ftr and he defended his brother.
If I was going to have an issue with either of the reactions, I'd go with the reaction of the guy who got slapped. If he doesn't rid himself of that hesitancy, he's going to get himself or someone else hurt.
Hitting a woman isn't cool. Defending the public or your fellow officer is however.
