Yes, it’s because of being in two different conferences. Usually schedule two or three “tune up games” then on to the B1G….not sure why Indiana was week one.
I knew the 2 conference thing, but we play ga tech last game, as does Florida-FSU and Clemson-Sakerlina
Yeah, it may be a B1G scheduling thing, besides up here the weather in early September is better for crowds than late November. 😊
