Has anyone heard of any teams who may be looking to move down to 8 man football for the next cycle?
Also if I remember correctly this last cycle when the state moved the cutoff from 115 to 120 they put something in there to the effect that there would be no waivers for teams to stay in 8 man if they were above 120. Just looking at the recently release BEDS numbers for this year here are some teams who may have to move up. (Yes these can change with move in or move outs)
Iowa Valley-127
Northwood Kennsett-124
New London-128
Lone Tree-125
AGWSR-130
Easton Valley-120
Personally I hope that they make these schools play 11 man, all of them other then Easton Valley have had recent success, and it seems like a few of these have been above the number a few times before but always got a waiver because "they projected to be lower" but then the enrollment didn't drop.
