Start of the season

Alright so i have a quick question. Can teams start before like the actual set practice day? Like this year it was March 10th. Just as long as the coaches aren't there?

Absolutely. The rule is that a HS coach cannot have coaching contact with a player outside of season during the school year.

What that means is from (this year), March 10th until the first day of school in the fall, a coach can coach that sport. For soccer, from the 1st day of school until March 10th, a coach can monitor "open gyms" and volunteer / senior led practices, but he / she cannot offer instruction.

Additionally, if a HS coach is coaching a club team that has his school's HS players on it (1 player, 10 players, does not matter), he is in violation.

What about a coach from another school helping a player from another school?
Is that aloud from the start of the year until the soccer season starts?

A coach from another school would be allowed to coach in the off season.
