is there a hotter team in 3A right now? They got beat by a solid 4A team in week one, since that time they have ran the table. I see them in the championship.

They certainly are hot, but I would say there are still several teams that are on a roll. Three undefeated teams left. Assumption has run the table since losing to undefeated Bettendorf and Xavier in first two weeks.

All 8 teams have a shot. Decorah probably the longest shot, but you never know! All depends on match ups and who can stay hot or take it to the next level. SBL has a legitimate shot to get to the championship, I would agree. If they can get past a tough Webster City team, then would depend on how the match ups go in the semi's. I'm sure, like everyone else, they match up with some teams better then others.

SBL has intrigued me as they seem very explosive and diversely able this year. Webster City/SBL match up favors SBL, I think, simply because they might be harder to shut down, at least in the sense of what else can they turn to when favorite option #1 is taken away. If WC is able to simply ground and pound, just like they always do, they have a chance. I would not like that offense if I was behind in a game, which very well could happen against SBL.

Pella seems to be the prohibitive favorite, but it would not shock me to see some huge upsets in 3A before the champ is crowned.

SBL has a lethal offense but their defense can be shaky. I don't know much about WC but If their defense can slow down SBL then I see them winning.. If not SBL will pull away.

That D is beyond shaky. If Carroll's superb qb doesn't go down on a fluky head hit, nothing to do with good defense, Carroll probably scores 80 plus. While the George kid is a great high school back out of that whacky O SB-L runs it's doubtful they can keep up with Webster City's tough ground attack.

Carroll's quarterback didn't miss a single offensive snap during the game. He was injured on their last offensive play of the half and came out after halftime and played the entire game. Sounds like sour grapes in addition to being ill-informed!

Everyone talks about the Norwalk offense but their D was lights out tonight and has been most of the year. Looking forward to the SB-L O vs the Norwalk D on Thursday evening.

Norwalks D played very well last night. DCG's offense could not get much of anything going.
