4:00—Dowling Catholic, W.D.M. (9-2) vs. Bettendorf (10-1)

7:00—Southeast Polk (6-5) vs. Cedar Falls (11-0)

What is shocking is Bettendof/Dowling are the 1st game. The Bettendorf/Dowling game very well could go longer thsn expected.

So if thst happens, I take Dowling.

If the 1st game pushes the 2nd game back, that is s advantage to Cedar Falls.

If that happens I look for Dowling/CF in the finals

SEP vs CF - I am a homer so hopefully SEP can pull this out. I think SEP will stay competitive for awhile and then CF will pull away and win by 2 possessions. CF by 13+.

CF is always use to games starting late and ending late at the UNI Dome. Ive seen over the years where it is easy to lose focus when waiting.

The Cedar Falls coaches do a good job keeping them ready to go. Im not saying SEP does not do the same. However this game is not being played at SEP.

By starting later start time, I mean that for some unknown reason the 1st game extends way beyond what it should. Instesd of 7pm it does not start til 8-8:30pm

Given the fact this will be the 7th game CF has played (this year) at the UNI dome, as far as advantages go the start time is moot.

Interesting, thanks. Honestly, I don't see that first game lasting all that long, neither team throws a ton. I guess if it goes multiple OT's, all bets are off.
