There was an article in the local paper today in which a sportswriter said that coaches don't want to show TOO much in these games where two good teams may play again in the substate finals. Not referring to this matchup. Basically the best scouting opportunity of the season. Sometimes a loss right now at the end of the regular season may motivate or wake up some teams.
Off topic. Our opponents, Hampton Dumont, cancelled there game with us last second and now we have only 20 regular season games played. I do not want this to come back to bite us if we make state and not having that extra win hurts. I’m guessing though there is basically no one willing to play tomorrow on short notice. Pretty crappy of Hampton Dumont
