How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Pretty good. We have played some really good teams and really tough games. We’ve been on the wrong side of them, but we have been playing really well. We haven’t really lost anyone to sickness or injuries yet, so I can’t complain about this season so far.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“One thing that our coaches keep saying that we need to improve on is finishing. We have struggled to get into the end zone too many times when we get close. We need to finish our drives and put points on the board.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“We need to stay focused on our goals we have for the season. We need to finish and go to the whistle every play. We need to make sure that we avoid sicknesses and avoidable injuries. We’re going to need everybody for the rest of the season.”

What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“Our goal for the season is to finish the regular season very strong. Obviously, everyone makes the playoffs this year so hopefully we can make a run. That is one goal we had from the beginning, to make a run deep in the playoffs.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I for sure want to play a sport in college, but I haven’t decided which one yet. I will play either basketball or football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I don’t have much recruitment, but I have had a couple of coaches reach out and talk to me.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest (skip question if this does not apply)?
“Dordt University and Wayne State have talked to me the most.

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any colleges visits yet. I was planning one earlier this season, but it was canceled due to COVID.”

Do you have plans for game day trips this fall?
“I plan to make a couple game day visits when they come up.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Dordt University and ISU were my favorite colleges growing up and still are.”
