How has the football season been going for your team?
“I feel like we have been playing great this year. We had a tough year last year but have a shot at making the playoffs. The team chemistry is so much better than last year.”
What areas can your team improve on?
“In practice, it is knowing mechanics and getting the little things down like snap counts and watching the ball. We are working on man to man defense and making sure we talk on defense at all times.”
What do you know about your next opponent in Dike-New Hartford?
“They are a really good team. They have been a stellar team ever since we played against them. We got killed by them last year. I am looking forward to the new year. I think we can do it.”
What are the keys for your team to be successful?
“I would say we have to play together as a team. We have to limit mental mistakes. If we can do that, we can make a good run at the playoffs this year.”
Do you want to play football in college?
“Yeah, I am thinking about playing college football. I love the Iowa Stat Cyclones and any of the programs around here.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“It has been schools like Ellsworth, Central, and Grand View. Those are a few of the ones now.”
Do you have any plans for fall game day trips?
“I’ll go to a few schools. I will probably go to Iowa State. UNI has a good football program that I want to look into.”
