How did basketball go this summer?
“Summer was good. Our AAU team definitely could have done better but personally it was pretty good.”
What did you improve on the most?
“My defense. AAU really helped me get out and play against better competition. It wasn’t just playing 1A basketball.”
What are you doing now with sports and workouts?
“I’ve been playing football and lifting. I’m getting stronger.”
How is the football season going?
“We are undefeated right now. We are looking good.”
How do you believe your team will be this season?
“Coming from last year, we have high expectations. Everyone will be healthy and we have some good players coming in.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017-2018?
“We play North Liberty and Spirit Lake. Those will be some tough matchups. We don’t just want to play 1A teams. We want to be ready for districts and hopefully state.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Not really. I’ve gotten a bunch of camp letters but I don’t really focus on those too much. This year will be a big year for me.”

“Augustana sent me one. I’ve gotten one from Upper Iowa too but that is since their coach is the son of my coach.”
