How did the football season go for your team?
“We were successful in going undefeated and winning state. We all played together and had a great team chemistry.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“My friends and I work out with Brett Bueker, one of Iowa State’s former strength coaches, four times a week. We also do team lifting twice a week. We stay pretty busy.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I'm trying to improve my flexibility and explosiveness in and out of my breaks. Once I get those things to where they need to be, all of my other numbers will go up with them.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I don't expect anything less than the success we've had in the past. We've got a solid team chemistry and a great mindset working this off-season.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“It's really tough to say with the new districts and all. I have no idea how any other teams will grow this off-season and how many teams have placed a target on our back.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yeah, I want to play football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I've had some contact with Princeton, Penn, Columbia, Yale, Iowa, SMSU, Minnesota State-Moorhead, and Harvard.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Princeton. This junior day will be a return visit since I went on one in October.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, SMSU, Princeton, and Iowa.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I don't know yet.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yeah, definitely South Dakota. My father played there.”
