What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I’ve contacted the strength and conditioning coach to get my workouts sent to me. I’ve been lifting at Planet Fitness since it has reopened.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“My explosiveness off the ball and the speed right after.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I want to find a way to be more disruptive on defensive line and on the offensive line be able to make better blocks.”
How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?|
“At first when everything began to close, I would just really do cardio workout like go out run 2 miles and do that about once in the morning and once In the afternoons.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I believe my team will take the state title this year. After last season, we’ve lost some of our seniors, but I feel that both our defense and offense is going to be deadly this year.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Iowa City West.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“I couldn’t really say.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes I would, and it’d definitely be football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“A few Division 2s and 3’s as well as some NAIA schools.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t yet been able to do any trips, but I’m hoping to visit some Universities before the summer ends.”
Do you have any plans for college visits this fall? If so, where?
“As far as I know, nothing yet, but I’m going to get some visits in to USF and BSU.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“When I was a younger kid, I mostly rooted for the Iowa schools like Iowa and Iowa State.”
