How did the football season go for your team?
“Our team made it back to the Dome for the second year in a row last season. We were led by a very good season class, which will be hard to replace.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“We will start lifting at the beginning of summer and condition up until the first day of practice.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“We as a team will try to get bigger, faster, and stronger. For us, we have some upper classmen to try to replace those leaders from last season. We have to become leaders of our own for the younger kids to help them develop and make our football team better.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“We obviously want to make a run and get back to the Dome, but that is a long way away and we have a lot of work to do. I think we’ll have a very nice football team that is led by a very good senior led offense line that we can work behind.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“Our 2018 schedule is a tough one with some really good football teams. I don’t know too much about a lot of them, but I know we will have our hands full week in week out.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would like to play either football or baseball in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven’t really had any colleges recruiting me quite yet.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t made any college trips yet, but this next year I plan on trying to make some.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“It’s hard for me to attend camps over the summer with me be a baseball guys because there just isn’t a lot of time to do so. I’m not sure if I will attend any camps this summer, but I’ll try to find some.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college has always been Iowa growing up, and I try to make it to one or two of their games a year.”
