How did the basketball season go for your team?
“I thought it went well. We kind of lost momentum at the end of the season. We bring everyone back except for one player. I think we have a good chance to make it to state this year.”
How do you feel AAU will go Martin Bros?
“I think we’ll do a lot better than last year. We have a lot of firepower. We will get better and we can win a lot more.”
What are your AAU goals?
“Just to become a better player. I want to play against higher competition and have coaches see me. I’m not worried about offers. I just want to keep winning and that will help.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think we’ll be really good and can go undefeated in the regular season to get a top seed in the district. If we play well, I can see us being in Des Moines.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Probably Western Christian. That is always a rival. We beat them last year for the first time in school history. Bishop Heelan is another one.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have offers from Drake and North Dakota still. It is also SDSU, USD, and UNI. Those are the ones that have reached out a lot.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I went to a UNI game this past winter and a North Dakota game as well.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I think I’m going to North Dakota, USD, SDSU, and UNI again.”
