How has the football season been going for your team?
“At of this, we are 1-0 so I think things are going well. We got a lot of great senior leaders who have been filling the shoes of the seniors last year.”
What areas can your team improve on?
“I’m new at quarterback so I have to keep my composure. I have to not be controlled by the game and allow myself to control the game. I have to rely on my teammates instead of taking it into my own hands.”
What do you know about your next opponent in Albia?
“I am not trying to overlook a single team. We are expecting a battle and coming out ready to fight. I think they can be a good team and they can beat us.”
What are the keys for your team to be successful?
“We have a lot of skills and unlocking those would be getting a hold of it is going to be huge. Once we get a hold of it, we have to keep humble.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“No sir. I am hoping that they start coming soon.”
What college camps did you attend this summer?
“I did Iowa, Iowa State, and Dordt.”
How did you perform at the camps?
“I think I performed well at all of them. I didn’t get any special treatment from the coaches but I enjoyed all of them. I played my heart out and was not disappointed with how I performed.”
