“This basketball season has been going great. We are in a great spot and have a shot at winning a championship.”
What did it mean for your team to make it to state?
“It means a lot for a young team like us to make it to state. We have put so much time and effort into this.”
What do you know about your next opponent in West Des Moines Valley?
“Well, at this point, we know that everyone is going to be good on both sides of the floor. Valley has a lot of size and guards that can handle it.”
How excited are for you to play at state?
“I’m very excited, but not satisfied with just making it state. I want to go and win this thing.”
What are the keys to determine the winner in this battle?
“Who’s going to play harder and who’s going to bring everything they have? Every game at this point is a fistfight.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“So far just Iowa has been showing me interest. I went to a visit and got to see what practices were like and what they wanted to do this upcoming season.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I don’t know how many or what camps I will be attending. My summer basketball schedule is very packed.”

“My favorite college growing up was where my dad went to college, Virginia Tech. As a kid, I always looked at him and going there would be pretty cool.”
