How is the basketball season going?
“This season is going really well. We are having a fairly successful year and personally, I get to see how basketball plays at a high school level.”

What can your team improve on?
“A big thing our team could improve on is our turnovers. We need to slow the game down and make good passes.”

What are your thoughts on AGWSR in the first round of the playoffs?
“I think that we can beat anybody in our district if we play our best defense. It should be close game, but I think we can pull it off.”

How do you feel about your district pairing?
“Like I said previously, we can beat anybody in our district if our defense is at 100%. If we play our best basketball of the year, we should be able to make it far. Intensity is key for us.”

Do you want to play basketball in college?
”It has been a lifelong dream to play collegiate basketball. If I put in the hours, I think I can make that an achievable goal.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have been looked at by a few schools on a recruiting website, but I’m not able to see their names on that website. In the off-season, I am going to play on an AAU team, which I have never done before. Hopefully this raises their interest.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’m only a freshman and I haven’t made any college trips yet. Once colleges start noticing me, I’ll make those trips.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I have a few individual camps lined up as well as some team camps. As for personal camps goes, I have my eye on the All-American Showcase in Des Moines. There are also some smaller ones that come to our school that I will attend. And for our team camps, we usually attend the team camp up at NIACC and then try to find one or two more elsewhere.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up was the University of Northern Iowa. UNI is so close to home and I love to see them do well. I also have always dreamed of playing collegiately for the Panthers.”
