How did the basketball season go for your team?
“Honestly we won the games we were supposed to but didn’t beat anyone that we weren’t supposed to. We didn’t do horrible but we should be better next year.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I’ve been playing with the Iowa Dynasty. We played in Midwest Live and then in Midwest Live in Omaha. This weekend, I played with the Barnstormers in Indianapolis.”
How has the AAU season been going?
“It has been good. We have been winning a lot of games but I’ve been playing well and shooting the ball better. Hopefully I can carry that into next season.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“Probably my strength and conditioning for defense. I want to be a better overall defender and be faster so I can guard smaller guards. I want to be able to matchup better.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I feel we’ll be a lot better. We won ten-games by freshman year when we were all together. Hopefully we can win seven or eight games. That is my goal. I just want to improve from last year.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Probably Valley again. They are always strong. It will be them, Dowling, or both of them.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“It has been all of the smaller Iowa schools like Coe College, Mount Mercy, and Central has sent me something. My biggest school is Elon University. They send me letters almost on a weekly basis.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, I have not.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I am looking at a few camps. I am not 100% sure on it yet.”
