What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have been working every day in the gym lifting weights, playing basketball, and going on runs.”

What are your goals for the season?
“My goals for the off season are to meet up with new players stepping on to the varsity level and get them ready for the season.”

Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our opening game is against Ogden. I feel like this will be a great opening match up for us. With the seniors returning and the underclass stepping up for us, I feel they will have a tough time moving or stopping the ball.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel once we get our team chemistry going, we are going to be quite the force to be reckoned with. We have great size, team commitment, and heart.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I feel West Hancock will be the toughest competition we have. We haven’t played them, so we don’t know exactly how we are going to be facing off.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“I would have to say a returning RB from West Hancock, Cole Kelly. He finished with a good number of rushing yards and will be a senior next year.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would love to be given the privilege to play sports in college. The sport of love to play would definitely be football for it has always been a dream of mine since I was little.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have had many colleges reach out and touch base with me including Central College, Simpson College, and more.”

Do you have plans for game day trips this fall?
“I haven’t scheduled any game day trips for this fall as of right now.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made a trip to Iowa Central a while back, but since COVID has happened, it’s been hard to set up a tour. I have been receiving many online virtual tours instead.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I have always loved Iowa and Iowa State. I have always wanted to play on Iowa State’s field for that was where I watched my first college up football game.”
